You can choose between:

Sell It Yourself — Self-Service: You pay a once-off advertising fee, manage the transaction directly and keep 100% of the selling price.

Concierge Service: Our dedicated concierge prepares your listings, manages enquiries and negotiates on your behalf. A €50 sign-up fee and 30% sales commission apply.

How much does Self-Service cost?

Our Self-Service fees are:

  • One item: €25
  • Two items: €40
  • Three items: €55

These are once-off advertising fees. Designer Outlet takes zero commission from Self-Service sales, so the seller keeps 100% of the agreed selling price.

How does Self-Service work?

Purchase the appropriate listing package and submit your photographs, description, price and item information.

We advertise the item and forward interested-buyer enquiries to you.

You then communicate with the buyer, negotiate the price, arrange payment and organise delivery or collection directly.

Designer Outlet provides the advertising and enquiry platform only and is not involved in the transaction between a Self-Service buyer and seller.

Our Concierge Service provides a more managed selling experience.

Your dedicated concierge will contact you after sign-up and guide you through the process. You can submit photographs and information by WhatsApp or email, and an in-person consultation may be arranged where appropriate.

We select suitable items, create the listings, write the descriptions, promote the items, manage buyer enquiries, communicate offers, negotiate with your approval and coordinate payment and delivery after an item sells.

How much does the Concierge Service cost?

Concierge costs:

  • A once-off €50 sign-up fee
  • 30% commission on the final selling price of each item sold

The 30% commission applies only when an item successfully sells.

You do.

The seller retains possession of all Concierge items while they are listed. Designer Outlet does not normally store or take custody of an item before it sells.

You must keep each item safe, available and in the same condition shown in its listing. Tell us immediately if an item is damaged, altered, sold or becomes unavailable.

What happens when someone makes an offer on my Concierge item?

Your concierge will contact you with the offer.

We may negotiate on your behalf, but we will not accept an offer below the agreed asking price without your approval unless you have previously authorised us to negotiate within an agreed price range.

What happens when my Concierge item sells?

Once the sale and buyer’s payment have been confirmed, we will contact you and arrange to receive the sold item.

The item must be provided promptly and in the same condition in which it was advertised.

We will then arrange tracked delivery or collection for the buyer.

How and when will I be paid for a Concierge sale?

Designer Outlet deducts its 30% commission from the final selling price.

The remaining 70% is paid to the seller once the buyer’s payment has cleared and any necessary transaction checks have been completed.

Stop communicating with the person and do not send money or release an item.

Forward the relevant details, screenshots or messages to info@designeroutlet.ie.

Designer Outlet will never ask for your banking password, complete card security details or account passwords by email, text message or social media.
